Bhubaneswar: The Startup Odisha, with the support of the MSME Department, organised ‘X-Change Programme’ and ‘Launchpad 2025: Incubator Induction & Capacity Building Programme’ at Odisha Startup Incubation Centre, O-Hub here to nurture the startup ecosystem in the state.
Incubators expressed their gratitude towards Startup Odisha for conducting such events to empower Incubators with valuable insights on capacity building. The ‘X-Change Programme’ brought together Startup Odisha recognised incubators on an exclusive knowledge-sharing and collaborative platform. Designed to foster ecosystem alignment and build capacity, the programme encouraged incubators to co-create an inclusive and future-ready startup landscape.
Simultaneously, Startup Odisha formally inducted nine newly recognised incubators into its network under the Launchpad 2025. These innovative incubators are IIM Sambalpur I-Hub Foundation, Sambalpur University Startup Forum, OASME Council for Engineering and Technology, Dasari Vikash Rural Entrepreneurship and Innovation Foundation, Centurion Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Facilitation Centre, CVRCE Technology Incubator Foundation, Crucible Innovation Forum, NIST Incubation Foundation, and GITA Incubation Foundation.
Speaking on this occasion, CEO of AIC T-Hub Rajesh Kumar Adla and Joint Secretary of MSME Department Kamaljit Das shared valuable insights on building impactful incubation strategies and cross-institutional collaboration.
These capacity-building programmes are a pivotal step toward strengthening the support structure for emerging startups by orienting incubators with Odisha’s startup policy frameworks and strategic resources. Such initiatives exemplify the State’s commitment to building a thriving, innovation-driven startup ecosystem through collaboration, mentorship, and structured support mechanisms.
Additional Chief Secretary to MSME Department and Chairman of Startup Odisha Hemant Sharma has been instrumental in accelerating the growth of Odisha’s startup ecosystem. Under his leadership, Startup Odisha has deepened its collaboration with national and global institutions, strengthened policy outreach, and empowered early-stage entrepreneurs through structured capacity-building, incubation, and funding initiatives.
