Bhubaneswar: In preparation for the massive influx of devotees expected during Rath Yatra, the Comprehensive Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has decided to roll out special Ama Bus services, connecting Bhubaneswar and Kataka with Puri on July 16 and July 24-25.
The additional services aim to ensure smooth and convenient travel for pilgrims heading to the holy city. Buses will operate from major hubs in the twin cities directly to Talabania Bus Stand and Malatipatpur Bus Stand in Puri, helping manage the heavy festive crowds efficiently.
According to CRUT, which operates the Ama Bus network, special services will run on multiple routes, including 22E, 50E, 51E, 54E, 56E, 57E, 58E, 59E, 61E, 72E, 77E, DD1, and the AS shuttle service linking Master Canteen with the airport.
The transport authority shared the detailed routes and schedules for these special Rath Yatra services in a post on X (formerly Twitter). Devotees are advised to check the latest timings and routes through official CRUT channels to plan their journeys comfortably during the festival.
