Sub-Junior National Badminton: Tanvi Patri bags double crown at Kalinga Stadium
Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s rising star and teenaged prodigy Tanvi Patri showcased her talent and skills to clinch a double crown in the Yonex-Sunrise 37th Sub-Junior National Badminton Championships 2025.
The 14-year-old Tanvi, who is already being touted as the girl who is ready to step into the shoes of Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu, emerged champion in both the Under-15 and Under-17 Girls’ Singles events. What made her performance even more memorable was that she dazzled in front of her own fans at the Kalinga Stadium.
Asian U-15 champion Tanvi Patri also spearheaded a 36-member Indian squad at the Badminton Asia U-17 & U-15 Championships at Chengdu in China from October 21 to 26, 2025.
