Bhubaneswar: Chief Postmaster General, Odisha Circle, Nirmaljit Singh, IPoS (1997) had a courtesy call on Chief Minister of Odisha Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan here on Friday.
During the visit, the Chief Postmaster General apprised the Chief Minister about the various services provided by the Department of Posts across the state and the upcoming IT modernisation project of India Post which will be very customer friendly.
He also apprised the Chief Minister about the new post offices opened in the unbanked areas of the state to provide hassle free services to the citizens at their doorstep through India Post Payments Bank. He also presented one “MY STAMP” to the Chief Minister on the occasion.
Amit Kumar Jha, IPoS (2015), Director Postal Services (HQ) was also present.
