Maximum Odia Songs Sung by a Teen: Saikrishna sets India Book of Records

Kataka: Saikrishna Mohanty, a Class-X student of DAV SCB Medical Public School, has made it to the India Book of Records for his extraordinary musical talent.

He has achieved this rare feat by singing 40 songs including 12 traditional Odia songs, 19 devotional Odia songs and 9 Odia filmy songs in 2 hours and 38 minutes.

Born in 2011 in Puri, Saikrishna has made the school, family and the entire Odisha proud for this achievement. On the occasion, teachers and students led by Principal of the school Dr. Niranjan Swain congratulated Saikrishna and wished him a bright future.

Saikrishna is also a recognized child artist at All India Radio (AIR), Kataka. He is the only son of Basant Mohanty and Aparajita Mohapatra of Puri.
