Keonjhar: The shocking incident of a man exhuming his deceased sister’s remains to withdraw money from her bank account has triggered outrage across the country and continues to dominate public discourse.
Amid the widespread attention, founder and CEO of Noida-based Physics Wallah (PW) Alakh Pandey has offered financial support of Rs 10 lakh to tribal man Jitu Munda on Wednesday. Similarly, Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Kirodi Lal Meena described the Keonjhar incident as a “blot on a civilised society” and announced that he would donate one month’s salary to the victim’s family.
Sharing the video on X, Meena expressed anguish over the incident, stating that Munda’s “helplessness and pain” deeply moved him. He said that harassing a poor tribal man in the name of procedural requirements is unacceptable in a civilised society.
In addition, two former State Congress presidents have also provided financial support amounting to Rs 24,000.
