Bhubaneswar: The General Body (GB) meeting of CREDAI Bhubaneswar was successfully conducted at Hotel Novotel here with enthusiastic participation from members and presence of senior leaders from CREDAI National and CREDAI Odisha. The meeting focused on strengthening the real estate sector, government policy advocacy, membership growth and the roadmap for upcoming initiatives.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice-President (East), CREDAI National & Chairman of CREDAI Odisha Swadesh Kumar Routray emphasized the need for progressive government policies, ease of doing business, faster approvals, and stronger collaboration between the Government and the real estate industry to accelerate planned urban development in Odisha.
President of CREDAI Odisha Anil Kumar Agarwal highlighted the role of the real estate sector in economic development and employment generation. He stressed the importance of regulatory reforms, transparent governance, infrastructure development, and policy support for sustainable housing and urban growth.
President of CREDAI Bhubaneswar Seikh Mairajul Haque shared the vision and future roadmap of city chapter. He also urged members to actively participate in the association’s initiatives and work collectively for the growth of the real estate industry in the capital city.
Presenting the welcome address, Secretary of CREDAI Bhubaneswar Kalinga Keshari Ratha highlighted the significance of collective participation in strengthening the association and reaffirmed CREDAI Bhubaneswar’s commitment towards ethical, transparent and sustainable development of the real estate sector. He also presented a detailed report on the activities undertaken by the association over the past few months.
The General Body welcomed the new membership applications of Deepak Agarwal, Managing Director, Eutopia Realtors Pvt. Ltd. and Suryakant Mangaljyoti Mallick, Managing Director, and Adarsh Kumar, Director, My Nest Assets Pvt. Ltd. The members extended a warm welcome to them.
Treasurer of CREDAI Bhubaneswar Manmohan Agarwal presented the financial position of the association, including membership contributions, pending dues, current financial status, and the association’s accounts.
The members also deliberated on various issues relating to Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority (ORERA), Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), Cuttack Development Authority (CDA), building approval processes, development permissions, infrastructure support, ease of doing business and policy reforms for sustainable urban development.
The leadership emphasized the need for continuous dialogue with Government departments and regulatory authorities to ensure faster approvals, transparent procedures and a business-friendly environment for the real estate sector. The General Body held extensive discussions on organizing the CREDAI Bhubaneswar Property Expo – 2026, proposed to be held during October–November 2026. The proposed CREDAI Bhubaneswar Event Calendar was presented before the General Body for approval.
