Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s talented swimmer Mannata Mishra continued her remarkable ascent on the national stage by clinching a bronze medal in Women’s 200m Breaststroke event at the 79th Senior National Aquatic Championship in Ahmedabad.
The 19-year-old Mannata, who won Odisha’s first-ever gold in the Junior Nationals two years ago, clocked 2 minutes and 40.64 seconds to finish third in the race.
A product of Odisha IIS Swimming HPC, Mannata’s medal came after her senior Pratyasa Ray clinched two gold medals (100m and 200m Backstroke) and a bronze (50m Backstroke).
