Parakram Diwas: Netaji’s call continues to inspire courage, says Radhakrishnan

Cuttack: Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan on Friday attended the Parakram Diwas celebrations at the birthplace of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in Cuttack.

Recalling the stirring strains of “Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja”, the marching song of the Indian National Army, he said Netaji’s call continues to inspire courage and resolve among Indians. He urged citizens to collectively pledge to work towards Viksit Bharat@2047, drawing inspiration from Netaji’s vision of a strong, self-reliant and powerful nation.

Governor of Odisha Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and other distinguished guests were present on the occasion.

The Vice-President also felicitated freedom fighter Mayadhar Mallick and Wing Commander B. S. Singh Deo (Retired), and honoured family members of INA veterans at the Parakram Diwas celebrations in Cuttack. He said the nation remains forever indebted to the courage, sacrifice and selfless service of the freedom fighters and our brave soldiers.

He also inaugurated the INA Postal Stamp Gallery, Netaji Sanskruti Bhawan and an exhibition organised by the Ministry of Culture at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Birthplace Museum, Cuttack. He said that such initiatives would inspire younger generations to learn about Netaji’s life, sacrifices and enduring legacy.
