Bhubaneswar: Odisha Police have launched a probe into the allegations that a porn actress was allowed to stay in a government circuit house in Odisha’s Rourkela city.
The cops have detained several persons including the employees of the circuit house, a businessman, the owner of a luxury car, the driver and the son of a former Superintendent of Police (SP)-rank officer for questioning in this connection.
As per the allegations, some influential people had invited Tina Nandy to Rourkela and arranged for her stay at the circuit house at Panposh in the Steel City. The actress reportedly arrived at the Jharsuguda Airport and she was taken to Rourkela in a luxury car. She allegedly stayed at the circuit house for a few days.
The porn star reportedly shared videos of her road journey from Jharsuguda to Rourkela and the interiors of the circuit house in her blog.
The alleged incident has invited sharp reactions from the locals as well as social activists. “How could a porn actress stay in a government house? Who had brought her to Rourkela and arranged for her stay at the circuit house? How did the employees of the circuit house allow this?” said a social activist.
The police have reportedly kept the son of the former SP in an undisclosed destination for interrogation.
