Pandian visits Puri stadium project site
Puri: Secretary to CM (5T) V K Pandian on Wednesday visited the Puri stadium project site and supervised the ongoing works. He reviewed the progress of the project.
Puri town has a strong culture of “akhadas” and there is a lot of scope for development of sports like wrestling, weightlifting, body building, yoga, gymnastics and boxing, Pandian said. Residential cricket academy and wrestling academy will be established in the new sports complex, he added.
