Naveen asks officials to conduct Bahuda Yatra, Sunabesha smoothly
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has urged the officials to conduct Bahuda Yatra, Adharapana and Sunabesha with discipline.
Reviewing the annual Rath Yatra preparations here on Friday, Naveen said, “the whole world is watching us and you must put in best efforts to show the world despite the health emergency of coronavirus.”
He thanked the officials and the administration as well as servitors of the Shree Jagannath Temple for smoothly conducting the world famous Rath Yatra. Naveen asked the officials to coordinate with the Information and Public Relations department to ensure live telecast of Bahuda Yatra, Suna Besha, Adharapana and Niladri Bije.
Naveen advised the officials to step up efforts for putting the dreaded coronavirus at bay and take measures to scale up testing. He advised the officials to rope in volunteers to do community mobilisation for awareness among people on coronavirus.
The Chief Minister was apprised of the arrangement for the conduct of Bahuda Yatra and Sunabesha by Law Minister Pratap Jena, Chief Secretary, DGP and chief of temple administrator.
