Crorepati varsity staffer in Vigilance net
Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths unearthed disproportionate assets worth Rs 1.38 crore from the possession of a senior assistant, Zoology department of Utkal University.
Vigilance sources said on allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Ashok Mishra, the Vigilance department conducted simultaneous raids at five places, including his residence, office and native place and detected the assets.
During the searches, the Vigilance sleuths found one triple-storied building in Bhubaneswar, two double-storied building, including LIG, in Bhubaneswar, one single-storied building at Salipur, Cuttack, 14 shop rooms at Salipur, four plots in Bhubaneswar, one motorcycle, deposits in different banks, gold and silver ornaments, cash and household articles.
