Cloudy weather to prevail in Odisha for next 3 days, rainfall alert in several districts
Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha will experience cloudy weather for the next three days, informed the regional meteorological centre here on Wednesday.
While cloudy and foggy weather will prevail in several districts till February 9, the Met officials warned of thunderstorm and rainfall in coastal and northern parts of Odisha.
The Met has also sounded yellow alert for the districts of Balangir, Boudh, Kandhamal, Sonepur, Angul, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Deogarh, Sundargarh and Keonjhar.
While many places in the coastal region of the state may witness light rainfall on Thursday, several places in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur and Jharsuguda will receive light to moderate rain on February 7 and 8.
Besides, the regional meteorological centre has predicted rain at one or two places in Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Nayagarh and Balangir districts on February 7 and 8. Such conditions may prevail till the next day.
The Met office has also sounded alert for Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati and Nuapada.
