Bhubaneswar: Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan is scheduled to embark on a one-day visit to Odisha on July 9 to participate in a series of programmes.
The Vice President is scheduled to attend a programme at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) in Bhubaneswar. He is also expected to participate in several other government and social programmes in Bhubaneswar and hold meetings with distinguished personalities.
Extensive preparations are already underway to ensure the smooth execution of the visit, with the State administration actively reviewing security protocols and logistical arrangements. Security across the Capital City is expected to be tightened significantly ahead of the Vice-President’s arrival, keeping in line with the multi-layer security protocols standard for VVIP movements at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) and the scheduled event venues.
The upcoming visit follows a period of heightened national attention on Odisha, which recently hosted President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi during which major infrastructure projects worth over Rs 47,600 crore were unveiled, marking Odisha’s BJP government’s second anniversary celebrations.
