Shakti Dubey tops Civil Services Exam, Odisha’s Ritika Rath secures 48 rank

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Shakti Dubey has topped the Civil Services Examination 2025, the result of which was declared by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday.

Ritika Rath, an Odia girl, has secured the 48th rank. This was her third attempt. The 24-year-old hails from Bhubaneswar. She was pursuing BA foundations in Management from IIM-Indore after completing Class 12 from Delhi and Class X from SAI International School, Bhubaneswar. Ritika is the daughter of Sishir Kumar Ratho, a former PCCF & Head of Forest Force, and Dr Sujata Rath.

A total of 1,009 candidates have been selected for appointments to the IAS, IFS, IPS, and various Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ central services, based on their performance in the mains examination (written test and personal interview).

The preliminary examination 2024 was conducted on June 16, followed by the main examination between September 20 and September 29, 2024. The interview round,was held from January 7 to April 17, 2025.

The UPSC further stated that the candidature of 241 recommended candidates is provisional, and the result of one candidate is withheld. Candidates, who appeared for the interviews, can check their final selection status on the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
