Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu arrived here on a three-day visit to Odisha on Monday.
The President reached the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in the capital city in the afternoon. Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and other dignitaries received the President at the airport.
Soon after reaching the airport, the President was escorted to the Loka Bhawan. She is scheduled to inaugurate the Jagadguru Kripalu University (JKU) near Banki in Kataka district in the evening.
After a night halt in the capital city, she will travel to Bramhapur in Ganjam from Bhubaneswar in a train on August 4. She is scheduled to reach Taptapani hot spring under Sanakhemundi block in the district by road.
The President will make a night halt at the Army AD College at Golabandha in Ganjam on Tuesday. She will return to New Delhi on August 5.
