OSRTC Bus From Odisha’s Nabarangpur Overturns In Andhra Pradesh, 7 Injured

Bhubaneswar: Seven passengers were injured when an OSRTC bus from Odisha’s Nabarangpur overturned near Salur in Andhra Pradesh’s Parvatipuram-Manyam district early on Sunday.

According to reports, the mishap took place as a state-run bus transporting 31 passengers, primarily construction workers, was traveling from MB-79 toward Vijayawada. It is being suspected that the driver lost control over the vehicle after the steering wheel unexpectedly jammed.

Salur town Circle Inspector Appala Naidu, along with other personnel, arrived at the accident site to assess the situation and oversee efforts to restore traffic flow on the affected road. A probe is underway to ascertain the cause of the accident, the Hindu reported.
