Bhubaneswar: Public Health Director of Odisha Dr Rabindranath Mishra on Thursday confirmed that three people have tested positive for Covid‑19 in the State. He clarified that the situation remains under control, with no cause for alarm.
Among the three infected individuals, two are in quarantine, while one is receiving treatment at a hospital. All patients are reported to be in stable condition, and the state’s COVID‑19 status is not severe, according to the official statement.
Health authorities have assured that surveillance and testing continue across districts, and precautionary measures remain in place. The department reiterated that Odisha’s healthcare system is prepared to handle any potential rise in cases.
