Bhubaneswar: The results of the matric examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) of Odisha are likely to be announced in the first or second week of May.
This information was shared by BSE President Srikant Tarai on Thursday. Around 5,91,979 students have appeared for the examination.
The evaluation of answer sheets of the High School Certificate (HSC) examination has already been completed.
“We had scheduled the evaluation process to end by April 2, which had started on March 19. We have received answer sheets from four districts and the others will arrive soon. We intend to complete all procedures on time after receiving the answer sheets. The results will be available by the second week of May,” Tarai said.
He also shared that certificates will be issued immediately after the declaration of results. Those students who get poor results can appear for supplementary examinations.
Tarai said the BSE aims to release results on time to ensure smooth admission processes for higher studies.
