Bhubaneswar: Amid the prevail dry weather condition, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday predicted a drop in temperature in Odisha during the next 2-3 days.
The forecast coincides with Diwali celebrations Diwali, the period which marks the end of the monsoon/autumn season and the arrival of winter.
According to the weather agency, light to moderate rain or thundershower may occur at one or two places in the districts of Baleshwar, Kendujhar and Mayurbhanj on October 10; Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Kendujhar, and Mayurbhanj on October 11 and Baleshwar, Kendujhar and Mayurbhanj on October 12. Thereafter, dry wether will prevail across the state.
