Bhubaneswar: A chopper carrying Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi could not land in the Odisha capital due to nor’wester rain on Monday.
The Chief Minister along with Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling was returning to the capital city in the afternoon after attending some events in Mayurbhanj district. The chopper was diverted to Puri after it failed to land in Bhubaneswar due to the bad weather.
The helicopter carrying the Chief Minister finally landed in a temporary bus stand at Samang in the Holy City. Soon after his landing in the bus stand, the Chief Minister was escorted to a circuit house in Puri, reports said.
Later, the Chief Minister returned to the capital city by road.
