In a similar case reported on 11 November 2025, a man allegedly stabbed his elder brother to death at Rebidi village under the R Udaygiri block in Gajapati district. The two brothers were said to be involved in a prolonged family feud. An argument escalated, and in a fit of rage, the younger sibling attacked his elder brother with a knife, killing him on the spot.
