Bhadrak: A man allegedly killed his son by attacking him with a sharp weapon following a family dispute in the Chunida area under Bhadrak Rural police station limits in Odisha. The deceased has been identified as Bikash Sahu, son of Ravi Sahu.
The incident took place in the morning when an argument broke out between the father and son. Following the altercation, Ravi allegedly locked his daughter-in-law inside the house and later attacked Bikash with a knife.
Bikash sustained critical injuries in the attack and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead later. There are also allegations that Ravi had earlier killed his first wife.
On receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and launched an investigation. The accused was detained for questioning.
