Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Higher Education Department has again extended the deadline for submitting applications for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET).
Students can now apply until 11.45 PM on March 22 through the SAMS portal (samsodisha.gov.in or pg.samsodisha.gov.in) by filling out the Common Application Form (CAF).
Originally set to close on March 15, the submission window was extended earlier this week till March 18 and again now till March 22, in view of the larger interest and future prospects of students, the department said.
CPET is mandatory for students seeking admission to postgraduate courses for the academic session 2026–27, with selections based on marks secured in the entrance examination.
The department also plans to commence postgraduate courses across universities and colleges by July 10. This initiative is aimed at ensuring timely completion of the academic cycle, thereby benefiting students across Odisha.
