CM Majhi meets Odisha Governor, holds talks on development

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati at Lok Bhavan in Bhubaneswar on Friday and both discussed state’s overall development, public welfare and effective governance.

The meeting, described by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) as a courtesy call by Majhi, focussed on Odisha’s development priorities and key ongoing and upcoming initiatives.

Both exchanged views on the state’s development priorities with a focus on accelerating growth and promoting public welfare. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on Odisha’s development agenda.

“Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi Ji called on me at Lok Bhavan today.

We exchanged views on Odisha’s development priorities and key ongoing and upcoming initiatives, with a shared focus on accelerating the state’s growth and advancing the welfare of the people of Odisha,” the Governor said in a post on social media.

In a similar post on X, the CMO said both held discussions on key state development and public welfare priorities.

“Today, at Lok Bhavan, the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi paid a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati. On this occasion, discussions took place between the two on strengthening the state’s overall development, public welfare, and progressive governance system even further,” the CMO said in the post.
