Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Art & Farm Flea (BAFF) 2.0 was organised at Nexus Esplanade Mall here on Sunday to promote community celebrations bringing together art, music, food, entrepreneurship and other activities into a single platform.
The event witnessed an over-whelming response from people, especially youths, turning it into a city-wide community celebration. It recorded a footfall of over 2,000 people, with participation spanning children, families, youth, and senior citizens.
As many as 43 homepreneurs and 9 home-grown brands showcased art, craft, food, and sustainable living, creating a vibrant yet unhurried environment. Many visitors who arrived for short visits stayed back for three to four hours, immersed in live music, creative workshops, conversations, and shared moments—often remarking that they did not want to leave.
A key highlight was the organic buzz generated on-ground, with live testimonials and real-time Instagram reviews creating FOMO and driving increased walk-ins through the day. Influencers from across the city attended and amplified the experience through social media.
Conceptualised and curated by Team Ocal Experiences, BAFF was initiated last year by founder Sonal N More as a community-led giveback with the intention of allowing Bhubaneswar to experience urban living through inclusive, people-first cultural gatherings. BAFF 2.0 reaffirmed this vision, demonstrating how thoughtfully curated community experiences can bring cities closer together, she said.
