Nandankanan reopens for visitors
Bhubaneswar: After remaining closed for more than two weeks due to cyclone Fani, which devaatated the State on May 3, Nandankanan Zoological Park reopened on Tuesday. The botanical garden on the premises of Nandankanan also reopened, sources said.
The decision to open the zoo was taken following a thorough inspection by a technical team, sources said.
The zoological park was closed for an indefinite period after the extremely severe cyclone hit Odisha.
